Since we had a few week respite from milking our goats, we went on a short trip. Last Saturday we left for Springfield, MO in order to attend a church we visited last year.
We attended the Bethedsa Christian Fellowship Sunday morning. This is a family-integrated church.

After the service, a family invited us over to their home for lunch. It was such a blessing to visit and get to know their family better. It was interesting to exchange moving stories with them.

That afternoon, we headed east to to stay for a few days in a cabin. We toured the Titanic Musuem, usually a 90 minute tour, it took us 7.5 hours to go through the entire musuem. There were so many interesting artifacts there; we read each and every one of them. We have read several books about the Titanic and are encouraged by the men's bravery and courage by allowing the women and children first!

We could not take pictures inside the musuem, so we took this outside.

During our week at the cabin, we read several additional books written about the Titanic. We find the story fasinating, and the chivalry shown before it went down remarkable.

Touring a butterfly garden - over 1000 butterflies here.
Friday we headed home and unpacked. The next day, however, life rapidly returned to normal as our first doe kidded...now the real adventure begins!

Seven years ago today, you entered our family!
I am so thankful God gave Samuel Ray Bryant to us. He is joy and excitment to our family! We celebrated his 7th birthday tonight with a "treaure hunt", a tradition with the guys here: it's a search for a bd gift, Samuel's special meal of hotdogs and cupcakes.
